Common questions
How often does a rental property need an EICR?
Every five years for private rented homes in England, or sooner if the previous report recommends it. A copy must be given to tenants and to the local authority on request.
Is your work notified to Building Control?
Yes, where Part P applies. You receive the compliance certificate for your records.
